I have a lot of the songs on my ipod and I made a few disc of some of the rare stuff and chocolate invasion, but I lost over 30 prince cd's and the time I have been collecting those cd's for years

I know how you feel. Someone stole my car and I had a 6 CD changer and it was full of Prince CDs. I lost out of print etc.

I remember how I kept looking up and down the street that day half hoping I would see my car return... cause I could hardly bear losing those CDs.

and the insurance company would not pay for the lost of the CD;s

I still have a CDR for the first crystal ball CD and it was the full set with the truth package. I didn't want to buy a whole nother set to replace disc 1 so a fellow Quaker felt pity on me and sent me a CDR of disc 1.

Oh thats awful. Im so sry for u. And he's such a difficult artist to collect.

Ive been lucky to find a whole lot of stuff on eBay and Amazon or maybe if you have some really good record store that sells used/old cds. Ive gotten to know the guy at "my store" and he keeps an eye out for me for Prince stuff.

Luckily u still have Crystal Ball cause Ive seen that for as much as £100.

That really sucks! I feel sorry for you! I'd be so sad if that happens to me. I hope you can get some stuff from Amazon, it's not really expensive there, especially if look at the second hand selection. Even when they say it's second hand, it's almost brand new. I got Prince CD's for around 1 or 2 dollars. I hope you'll able to find those.

I upgraded the first 10 albums to the SHM-CD Japanese version. So if you want my old copies of For You, Prince, Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999, Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, Parade, Sign'O'The Times and/or Lovesexy they're yours

When I moved a year and a half ago, I had some unreplaceble things damaged to the point that I had to throw them away. The same thing happened to me, something in the Uhaul fell on top of them. One was a painting of Prince that someone had given me one Christmas. They had taken a picture of Prince to an artist in the mall who paints portraits and he did a painting from the picture. It was very good. Very talented artist and he moved to New York and no longer lives here. The other was two framed pen and ink pictures of hookers that I had drawn years ago. When the frames smashed, the glass ripped the pictures to shreds.

I also had two Prince mirrors that I had won at the fair back in the 1980s. One was a 1999 mirror and the other was a Purple Rain mirror.
