Pure Genius? "I'm Your's" (Luv) "I'm Your's" must be up there with 1 of Prince's masterpieces and is a true demonstration of genius.
Funk, rock and sensual lyrics all rolled up in 1.
Does any1 know if he's played this jam recently? If not, Lawd...he needs to rock this, cause the guitar solos r calling his name again.
The studio version bass line is sick, but Ida would kill it.
Respect...I'm truly blown away...the whole song structure
Special request 2 Prince: Bring it back Brethren
Last song, side 2, For You, 1978

A very well written song. small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious! | |

agreed, looking back at this jam, he was well ahead of his time. the song is described as "rock" because of the guitar, but the bass line is hectic.
With that being said, Prince's recent tours have been heavily guitar-centred. I can really see this fitting in2 his current format.
