Prince had a Gold cd when the it was full priced to begin with. The $1 thing doesnt mean anything in my opinion. If it were $30, i'd buy lotusflow3r, if I didn't have it that is.

I actually really enjoy this album, though I'm not too fond of MPLSound.

I went back & forth. Liked Lotus first, then grew to like MPLSound better, and now back again.

It was definitely worth the $12 or so I paid, even though I only got through Bria's cd once.

You didn't like "Something U Already Know?" That is my favorite on her cd.

I didn't dislike any of it particularly, I just didn't really feel the need to listen again.I do remember liking some of it, and thinking Elixer was an intereting song.

I might go back to it some day, it's just there were two other discs I had much more interest in listening to at the time.

I understand. It's not my favorite Prince side project, but there are some really good cuts on there.

This is good news! That album needs to get around more... every time I play Boom/Crimson and Clover at work, everybody wants to know who it is (and I work with a lot of early-twentysomethings).

Yeah, MPLS sounds way too generic for me. I wanted those raw synths and funk a la 1982. But I guess it was not meant to be.
