While My Guitar Gently Weeps over at GeorgeHarrison.com

Over at georgeharrison.com, you can watch the video with a slightly different mix. Prince's guitar is louder, more keys and if I'm not trippin, you can here the other guitarist wailing in the back ground as well towards the end.

I've always wished Prince's git was louder as well.

The actual broadcast was louder (Prince's guitar) than what was posted online back then. They turned it down in the mix later when publishing the movie.

Was this on the DVD set of performances? I wonder what the mix is like there.

is there any reason why Prince is in this? I understand Tom Petty and Jeff Lynn, but have never heard the names of Prince and GH mentioned together, before this... Any info? thx.

It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

I believe it was at the request of Dhani Harrison.

Can never get enough of this performance....Dhani Harrisons's expressions crack me up as you can tell he is really loving Prince's performance and at times Petty looks pissed at Prince's show boating. lol. However it does look like Petty wanted to crack a smile or laugh right before Prince is going to fall back into audience.

Didn't like the way they cut the end off Prince's solo and dubbed something else on (or just turned someone elses guitar up). Pathetic.

Plus not mentioning Prince on the website was a bit biased since this video has become famous precisely because he was in it.

So Prince is just one of the 'and friends ' eh?. Yeah right.

the traditional all-star jam at the end of the show, plus George's son asked him, I think.
