Thing is though, how did she come to that conclusion? Honestly I have a hard time imagining Prince going up to someone who didn't do shit to him going, "You fugly, put this on NOW." I know he's a hardass about his music online and that kinda thing, but being a hardass about some things and just needlessly being a jackass are two different things entirely and I don't think he's got that in him.

I bet she was probably just told to put a veil on and she jumped to conclusions about why. Or someone on-set told her that and she took them at their word on it.

Prince probably just thought it looked mysterious and dramatic or something .

^ Agree. There's lots and lots of young, petite dancers - he could've picked someone else if he really thought this one was not attractive enough, instead of putting a veil on her. The veil was for artistic/dramatic purpose IMO.

Yep. I actually spoke to Kara White (the model whose face is shown) and she confirmed. She also said he was flirting so hard with her the whole shoot...he didn't even care that she like a foot taller than him. But she was only 16, so she wasn't having it.

If you don't know who Kara White is, Google her. She ended up being one of the top supermodels of the '90s. Stunning.

They obviously had a veil ready on set already. It's not like she showed up and he threw a fit...unless they ran and sewed one up. She looks slightly like Susannah Melvoin, which is probably how she got the job.
