The pics are nice thx! Umm, I know that some fans have a love/hate relationship with this era however, I think it was a transitioning phase for him. For some reason, it seems like he totally jumped from the 80's to the 2000's and had to readjust quickly. Think about it. The 90's was just a big Prince blur filled with the look of emaciation, paleness, Slave mascara on his face, a cane and a lollipop in his mouth. That's all I remember BEFORE 2000 After that, we saw him spirtuality transform and his inner being strengthen. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead.
Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either. Just leave me the hell alone

There seemed to be the beginning of a sence of sadness from Prince in mho. Prince's Sarah

^Exactly. That's why the joyous album title belies the actual sadness that it's really presenting. The loss of his child, the breakup of his marriage and the eventual realisation the glory days were well behind him.
I think a more introverted album title (and tracklist) paired with those outdoors pictures and a more restained image would have faired much better than the over the top 'fake' look he was pushing. Would have been nicer to see the real prince, but isn't that what we always want but he keeps a veil between his public persona and the private one.
