afaik/ iirc:

"Problems" with copyright infringements, the sites were not allowed to post pics, not allowed to use his images and not allowed back then to use the symbol for The Artist Formerly known as.... Prince .

Sorry to tell you, but these might be the reasons why so few Prince fansites exists today.
