Wikepedia 1984 in Music Unbelievable...there is hardly a mention of Purple Rain (particularly under "Events"). He never gets his due...pisses me off.
On another note same subject. Was staying in the Disney World All Star Music and there is a montage of 80s music in the lobby. Again, for 1984, NO Prince memorabilia. Now, I understand the 80s Prince was no family affair. But, they had Madoggo shit and she was whoring it up on stage in 1984. No props......  “At one time she was considered the world's youngest belly dancer. And Prince is the world's oldest woodland nymph!” |
