Performances that give chills

Just viewed Fury/SNL and Dreamer/Tonight Show again (probably seen each 50 times or more) and the performances still give me chills. I mean, after being a fan for almost 30 years I am amazed the man can still stun. What performance have you witnessed that literally gave you chill bumps?

Ah yes.....watched that one yesterday (While My Guitar....). Freakin amazing. I wish there was a way to convince all music fans to watch that performance. He would get more props as the most talented musician of our time.

The performance he did in 1983 at First Avenue in Minneapolis...no matter how you view it, that concert was absolutely incredible.

The one that gives me the most chills? Superbowl 2007. THAT is how you do a halftime show!

Also First Avenue - August 1983. Mainly for the historic value. smile

It's not really a performance in front of an audience, but at the end of a BBC Documentary on him there's a soundcheck performance in L.A. of The Ladder that's just amazing.

The amazing 18 minute version of Purple Rain that concludes the 1985 PR tour live in Syracuse NY show...WOW.. An absolutely transcendent performance!

The Cross from the Lovesexy Dortmund show is also very powerful
