Let me know the name of the boot when you find out, because i've heard a lot of attempts at that track and some are decent, but they're still not perfect like say, the tracks from Box of Chocolates or All My Dreams from 4DF's Parade config....

Oh, and yeah, Moonbeam Levels would be freakin' sweet....

the version i'm talking about isn't from a boot, but i presumed it would have maybe ended up on something. if the 30YOv2 is the best boot version i'll compare the 2, i'll check against work it just in case

comparing the version i was talking about, another version, the 30YOv2 version and the work it2.0 version, just have a quick listen in software which comparing them side by side, they sound pretty similar really, but visually i can see the 30YO2 version looks slightly clipped, like they've maybe whacked tape hiss off that way. in the two other versions there is no tape hiss and no clipping

i'd say the 30YO2 version is about as good as you'll get from a tape, it's certainly comparable quality to BOC or parade demos, you aren't going to get a very notable improvement in quality, it's not some hissy crap like some circulating tracks

there's a few different mixes of most of Prince's songs - The Line - the one on Jewel Box is a very early mix....

of course people are definitely holding on to certain tracks...and with good reason...in order to free 'unfound' tracks you've gotta have something to offer in return...

I am very grateful for the generosity of those who do share rare stuff like BOC...but I also respect the wishes of those who keep things to themselves...all in good time...don't wait for Prince though...

I'd love to see the footage that was filmed and ultimately not used around the Lovesexy era.....the bits we've all seen are just a tease...I'd love to see the complete aftershow recordings/footage... but yeah - I think those tapes are well and truly locked up - in Prince's personal vault....and if no one else has those tapes - I very much doubt Prince would have the balls to release anything like that now...
