I sure am. I think this song is awesome. Talk about a live in studio sound. I was and still am blown away by it. I understand people hate it but I just shake my head at that and find it really unbelievable. I think folks who have stated they disliked it only do so because it is attached to Lotusflower website memories. But it seems like dude is stretching here or at the very least doing a left turn type of song. This song is wild. Its odd how he obviously favored the slow burn rock of Coilonized Mind to this as he rarely played this one over Colonized Mind and others songs from LF project.

It has gotten it's share of hate, mostly for the lyrics (don't really know why.)

I love it, though, and yes, I'd put it in my top 5 Prince songs from the last decade.

People on this site didn't like it. Go to the search bar and type in 'Wall Of Belin'. It's not universally hated, but a lot of people said they didn't like it, and a lot of people said it was the lyrics they didn't like.

Then you haven't paid attention. Folks on THE ORG never had much to say about it beyond criticism, for the most part.

Ok song, not good not bad..

I haven't listened for a very long time.

I guess I could see how the lyrics could turn someone off if they really studied them but I just love the groove and lyrics are kind of goofy fun. I kind of see it like a Beck song where the lyrics are a bit nonsensical but you just enjoy the sound of them more than what they are saying.

But this song blew me away the first time I heard it and still love it. It could have been released in 1987 and would have held up with the other stuff at the time... or at least in 1993.

awesome summer driving song. my only complaint is that the fade out on the drums at the end makes it sort of peter out.

Wall Of Berlin is one of the best jams he has pulled out EVER. His guitar work is soaring, and is one of the best solo's he's put on CD. The whole meaning of the lyrics, and the way they just come together is BEAUTIFUL! It tells a story and I never get tired of it!

THE ONLY COMPLAINT: The way it fades to "$" This song should have been 10 minutes or MORE! Haha! I mean he was on another level in this song..."Universal paradoxical design, realities merely in the mind..."

I agree!! This song is in my top 5 of all time by Prince. It makes EVERY cd I make for the car or giveaways to friends. LOVE IT!! Guitar wise it is the best he has put on cd form

I think the only albums of the past 10 years I actually listed to are TRC and 3121 (and to be honest I don't think I will ever bother expanding my view), and I believe it is on none of them so I would have no clue if it is classic prince and / or wheter I would like it or not
