My biggest problem with it is that it sounds a million years old. It could really use a remaster or something.

I never really liked 'Soft and Wet' or 'So Blue'; but 'Just As Long As We're Together', 'Baby' and 'Im Yours' are favorites.

The vinyl album is mixed and mastered perfectly. I never listened to the CD, which probably sounds terrible, like every Prince CD before 1991, when technology (AD/DA conversion) finally caught up with the CD format...

I own it on vinyl, but my record and player are both in poor condition, so I wouldn't know. I heard that all of Prince's albums sound better on vinyl, but none of my Prince vinyls are in good condition.

Yep the title song alone is enough to make you cry it's so beautiful-that voice/harmony will do it to you-amazing.

I love how 'For You' is technically the first song of his career.

I love Just As Long As We're Together. And I think the melody to Crazy You is beautiful...but way too short. I wish we had the longer version in pristine sound quality.

Disagree, but I like it. It's not an album I could listen to on any given day.

"For You" was his first WB song and, excluding The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale, "Had U" was his last new WB song. Symmetry.
