Took some screengrabs from the boot dvd release (not sure if it's there's a better quality release, I've had it years), too many to post all at once, but here's the galleries:

There is no way I could pick just one as my favorite. Too many great moments. I'll give you some favorites though.
Purple Rain Tour - For obvious reasons seeing this show has to be in the top 5.
Lovesexy Tour - Another obvious pick. The show I saw in Chicago saw the only performance of Sign O' The Times on the whole tour. Mavis Staples was a guest. Prior to the show, 2 friends and myself waited outside in the parking lot in the early afternoon waiting to see Prince arrive at the venue. We got way more than we expected. Prince's limo came into the parking lot and went down the ramp to go into the venue, and all of the sudden the limo backed all the way up to the top of the ramp and Gilbert got out of the front passenger seat of the limo and came around to the back and opened the door and Prince freakin' got out of the limo and shook our hands and said hello and such. I nearly passed out from excitement. I was able to get one picture of him grabbing my friends hand and Gilbert asked me not to take anymore, which I followed his orders!

Diamonds and Pearls and Act I warm up shows at Glam Slam - It was great to see both of these shows at such a small venue. Especially Diamonds and Pearls since there was no US tour. Both were surprise shows with no advance notice. A couple weeks after the D&P show at Glam Slam there was a full blown show with props and all at Paisley Park. The performance parts of the Nothing Compares 2 U video were taken from the Paisley Park show. I was very fortunate as a fan to go to that show since it was invite only and a private show for guests of the band and celebrites that were in Minneapolis for the Super Bowl game. Several songs were first heard at both of the Glam Slam shows. Sexy MF, My Name Is Prince, and The Sacrifice of Victor at the Jan 92 show and Peach and She's Always In My Hair (first time live) at the Feb 93 show.
Act I aftershow - My first official aftershow. Prince did 3 nights in Chicago. I had tickets for the first 2, and the aftershow was on the 2nd night. Seeing Prince 3 times in 24 hours was awesome. Papa was played for the first time. Prince called on an assistant who brought out his purple notebook to him. He talked about how new the song was that he needed to see the lyrics. Come was also played and several songs from the then unreleased Goldnigga album, with Prince way more vocal than on the released album.
The Beautiful Experience concert - Another obvious pick. So many new songs and the excitement of being able to roam around Paisley Park.
Mayte's 21st birthday party - I have to pick this one too for the pure intimacy of it. Less than 50 people, it was held in the atrium and they were on risers about a foot of the floor. Levi was in attendance and played guitar. I was front and center and Prince was playing a tambourine and was hitting it with a drumstick. He came right up to me and handed me the tambourine and I just stood there frozen. He looked at me like......so I grabbed it. Mad and Flashlight were the highlights.
All of the Glam Slam and Paisley Park shows 94-95 were awesome. There were so many new songs that hadn't been put on any album yet. I have to admit it became a little overkill though. If I had to listen to one more 10 minute version of Get Wild or Race...
Strictly my opinion, but anything I saw 1997 and on didn't even come close to shows of the past. Everything turned into a greatest hits show, more or less. Emancipation being the best example...a new 3 disc album with 36 songs and you're going to play 4 or 5 at most??? It seemed like he was no longer confident in the new material he was putting out. One highlight for me though was Wendy opening the 7/7/7 show with the beginning chords of Purple Rain.
Sorry to ramble...

Where this pic!?
Some friends and I had a not as interactive an experience in Houston at an afterparty after the Lovesexy concert, there were limos parked in front of the club but they were decoys. Prince was in what looked like a catering van (with Gilbert driving) parked in the back drive of the club. We had all been leaning on the van and hanging around it because the lights were off inside and we had no idea Prince was in there. I hope we didn't say anything crazy, because he was hiding a few inches away. After we had wandered away, a light came on in the van and his head and hair were silloueted in the window, and then he actually came out but went straight into the club with one bodyguard in front and one in the back. He was wearing an all yellow version of a Lovesexy suit. We were hanging outside of the club because we were underage and couldn't get in. He only stayed a few minutes and then came out and got back into the van. He did say something back to us when we were shouting "great show" and such. But I have no idea what he said, as he was quickly back in the van which took off.
During that time he was in the club we wandered back up to the van in which Gilbert was sitting with a bored look and smoking a cigarette (at least thats how I remember it). Someone in our group said something stupid like " I can't believe Prince just got out of this van" and Gilbert was like "Whatever you say" as if he was a "man in black" telling us we imagined it. Kind of funny. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Sorry, but I'm not posting the pic. Kind of lame I know, but it's one thing I have that no one else has. If you get my drift. If you are in doubt if it really exists, you can ask Tim (Ts 12" archives)...he's seen it. If you're ever in Minneapolis, I'd be more than happy to show it to you.
He has on black and grey striped pants, a white shirt tied around the midsection, showing his stomach, and a black and grey Lovesexy styled coat. Grey arms and lapels, and the rest of the coat is black. Slightly unshaven, long black wavy hair, and a big grin on his face. Priceless!
