I need a Prince song for my wedding!

Hi all

I've never been into weddings, but now I'm getting married I have to get everything sorted!
All my friends used to go on about what they would do for their weddings when we were younger, which used to freak me out, so I used to joke that I'd dance down the aisle to Kiss by Prince.

Now that I'm actually getting married, I'l LOVE to do that, but they words aren't really church appropriate LOL Anyone know of a funky instrumental version or can you suggest another song?

Bring it on!

There are several, but you need to choose the one that talks to you deep inside, the lyrics that you would say to your Lover, as if you would have thought of..

ADORE is an everlasting Love song

or

GOLD

Friend, Sister, Lover, Mother, Wife

Saviour: U re my saviour, u re all I'll ever need

We make our own way to heaven everyday
"The only Love there is, is the Love we make"

So you need a Prince song for your wedding. Then you should give Prince a call. He'll check his computer register of unreleased vault tracks and say: "Ok, so I've got 193 to choose from about weddings..."

But seriously, how about When 2 R In Love or Te Amo Corazon?!

Ahhh I love the smart arses on the Org wink

Was kind of thinking of something with a funky beat, not that fond of Adore. Plus, being a woman, I can't really walk down the aisle to him talking about a woman, can i? "Could you be, the most beautiful girl in the world"....that'd sound like I'm stuck up!

I think I need an instrumental... LOL

If you have class & respect for your guests, Adore should be ruled out for the line about "ain't fuckin just for kicks."

If you want your fiance to file for divorce before the cake is cut, how about Wedding Feast?

What about an orchestral version of something? Avoids the issue of questionable lyrics & is appropriate for the setting.

"In a word, you were sex," or "was I the first" isn't exactly classy either.

There are instrumental versions of that song and I think one even without the background vocals (totally instrumental). You want a legal karaoke site were you can get it or another song?

If you dont know any, then why would you want one?

Any Prince fan would never need to ask.

Or maybe attention seeking
