Prince video of his performance of Controversy n Mutiny

So I just watched Prince in that yellow suit lol performing Controversy and Mutiny and I loved it cool believe it or not it was my first time hearing Mutiny boxed but it's great! That video was nice. Boy Prince is missing out on a goldmine by not putting all these vids on some payable site for fans to view/download hmmm anyway, it's a great vid.

I'm assuming hmmm that performance was about 8 min long and was nonstop funk! Eric Leeds also sounded great.

I love the organ part. There's also a video from the Under the Cherry Moon premiere party of Controversy/Mutiny.

Yes, that particular performance is from Prince's birthday show at the Cobo Arena in Detroit. http://www.princevault.co...June,_1986

He also plays the Controversy/Mutiny tracks at the premier party for UTCM which was held in Sheridan USA. http://www.princevault.co...July,_1986

Both shows circulate freely on video, but not in complete form.

Is this supposed to be a set list from that night? I don't think that they did a whole Parade show, could be wrong.

No problem, I just thought maybe they DID do a whole show that night. It does suck that the video of the Cobo Arena show got edited down in a BIG way!

It seems to be unknown what the entire setlist was that night in Sheredin, still, what does circulate is a very spunky and enjoyable performance.

I also agree that it's a pity that the Cobo show is edited, there is a version circulating that includes Soft & Wet as a bonus track, but it would be great to have the whole shebang.

Maybe one day, the footage must exist.
