Prince live in Concert for Valentines Day!

Just to let you guys know...Prince performed in concert in St. Louis, MO this last Friday, Valentines Day, with Earth Wind & Fire, Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, and other groups. His performance was short, but great. It was THE best Valentines present I could have gotten. love

He performed at the Savvis Center in St. Louis, Mo. It was hosted by Magic 105. It was also broadcast live on air.

First of all...my life is NOT that boring that I would have to make up the fact that Prince peformed in St. Louis. The man was there in PERSON. He performed after Patti LaBelle. And I must say that ALL the performances were top notch! I didn't know about it either until my friend told me the day of. Magic 105 (A Clear Channel Station) promoted the concert. He was there along with other great artists. Thats basically it. Magic rebroadcast the performance last night over the air.

I too purchased the paper (Post Dispatch) in St. Louis while I was there. And it was really sad that none of the papers covered the concert. It's unfortunate that St. Louis only cares about people like Nelly b/c he is a rap artist. And they didn't really understand how rare it was to have THAT many traditional artists in one night. You had 2 B there...

I really don't know what else you guys want...a bootleg possibly? Don't know...I've tried to contact the radio station as to when they are going to post the pics...they may play back the concert again...thats about it...other than that...it was a great concert...

And by the way...its really, really sad that people would come on here to make up stuff. It was a good concert and it didn't get a lot of attention. What can I say...if you aren't putting out some Cash Money or Ruff Ryders tune then the mainstream doesn't care about what you do. And honestly its a very sad state of music, specifically speaking black music.

And I too was shocked that I hadn't heard about the concert sooner. Even when Prince came to St. Louis last year, the local radio stations didn't even air the commercials until 2 weeks before the show. The same happened with this show.

Pulling this thread up to see if anybody has read or heard any further reports about this performance.

It's been a week now, so I was wondering if anyone has found any more detailed information about it.
