Extraloveable(the original) All I can say is damn what a difference 20 yrs or so makes  how come ya'll didn't warn me before I spent my hard earned money on the new one? So not cool anyway, the original is well the best  next time warn a P fan love the original  | |

I like the new one, but the original is so raw! It could have had a slight lyric change, but keep the music the same. The original is so damn funky! __________________________________________________

So what about it? The Rape line can be viewed as he is so in need of the girl thats subject of the song that he want to rape her,but i don't think he did it after that line he screams and there's a synth line ,nothing happened. | |

I'm usually the first person to defend Prince, but I'm not defending a line about rape. Even if he was insinuating that he wanted her so bad that he was on the verge of rape, some things don't belong in a song, and rape is one of those things.

To be honest I'm not really feeling the new version too much..the original is one of my favourites and is too amazing to be compared to.
The rape line doesn't really bother me too much..I've always kind of thought that those few sentences were pretty hot..sorry!!
