I understand! Rented a car a couple months ago and left 6-7 Prince CDs in the glove box of course no one turned them in.

1. I saw a few used copies of The Black Album last time I was out looking through the bins. Let me know if you need a copy and I can pick one up for ya.

2. All my local Best Buys (Boston area) seem to have copies of TRC, new, for like 6 bucks. They must've found a box of them in the warehouse or something. Buying CDs at BB is a real drag now, but if you need TRC that's a good place to look.

3. Same for the store "FYE" (usually in malls and stuff) and the Batman album. Not that Batman is too hard to find, but if you want a new copy, it seems like FYE is trying to sell through a bunch. I think those were going for 5 bucks, last time I looked.

Its strange to have them crushed, I would have let my Prince CD's ride up front with me (I would not let those babies out of my sight. AS I moved around a lot when I was younger, I put all my CD's into several of those zip up pouch CD holder things with the compartments for Cds so I threw away the cases and kept the cover and slick with each CD and a s aresult they are protected and always there.

Still I feel for you, some of those CDs must have held sincere memories.

Sorry nursey. Type "Prince Lot" (without the quotation marks) into ebay and sometimes you can get a whole bunch of albums pretty cheaply.

i've seen quite a few of those in sound exchange.. i dont know if they have that where you are tho..

im in florida, but its a second hand like store for music..when people no longer want their stuff they take it and get money for it..then it's re sold after being checked.. when my cds, mostly prince were stolen, i replaced many of them there, just didnt have money for all..havent been there since they moved a few miles down the street

just checked..problem... they have online store but they dont ship..

I'm So Sorry!!!!!! I'm sure you'll get all of them again just in time to get Prince's new album. There's so many sellers! Diamonds and Pearls is a really good album so at least you still have a few good ones to last you. There are a lot of things that were dear to me that i lost, but pictures and memories help. You can never say you didn't have them.

That is soooo nice!! Kudos to you Pandurito. And I'm sorry about that unfortunate incident. The rest, of course ebay, and I suggest Amazon and BN. Sometimes the like-new ones are cheapy

On a future move, I suggest putting all Prince sizeable items in the car you're driving in (strapped with cushion and seatbelts )

When I moved down south I took all my cd's out of their cases and put them in a cd holder but I left it at my sisters!!! I have no clue how well she is taking care of it. You are such a huge Prince fan that I can feel your pain way over here!!! Happy New Year. Remember what we love and are meant to have comes back to us somehow.

So sorry you lost your collection. I bought almost all of my Prince CDs from Amoeba Records. They even have 20Ten in stock. You can order online and shipping is free.

The people on the Org are great and caring. When I first came onto the Org., I had a fire and lost alot of my CDs; but can thank you to Org members who helped me put my collection back together. You All Rock!

Not to sound unsympathetic but the music is what counts and it can easily be replaced. You can probably find all those CDs on ebay or elsewhere for dirt cheap. And of course you could download Prince's entire discography pretty easily. You already bought them so I don't see a problem with downloading them if necessary.

So sorry to hear that. I would be devestated if my huge MJ and Janet collection broke like that. If I ever move. I'm going to wrap them very carefully and have them professionally shipped to the new address seperate from anything else.

but if she had singles and LP's with mixes, those can be very hard to track down, even with the internet, and some may be rare and not for sale online
