The symbol guitar didn't exist yet, but I totally agree that it was on the cloud. I do remember him playing that song at a show for the filming of the Ryde Divine concert at Paisley Park, and Prince played the solo.

On a sidenote: Princevault maintains that Prince plays drums on The Most Beautiful Girl while this is obviously Michael Bland. And it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't a complete band-performance (plus James Behringer on guitar).

prince plays drums on a single version.gold expirience version is different and it's michael bland on album version of gold expiriance

Well, unless I'm much mistaken they are the same version (mixed a little differently), but the GE-version has a different (and terribly cheesy) ending
