When people discuss guitar playing by Prince from

his first album most of the orgers rave about I'm Yours but forget the best solo on the record .

It's on the My Love is Forever song.

It is very sophisticated solo at the early

stages of Princes music career

with harmonizing guitar effect and

very nice melodic structure.

I think it shows much more maturity of his guitar soloing then the wankery of I'm Yours.

And don't get me wrong i love I'm Yours

but the the more fancy guitar stuff is on My Love is Forever.

little trivia:

I 'm almost sure Prince is playing Gibson guitar on My Love is Forever

Not only the guitar solo, the song itself is underrated. Imagine this song being played live today, it would sound great i believe

I think that on I'm Yours Prince didn't knew how to hold a bit.

My Love is Forever have a better melody and structure of the solo.

For You as a whole is underrated. The guitar solo of "My Love Is Forever" is irresistible.

I think For You is underrated too From the first listen til now this Cd always amazes me
