Prince Has Yet To Give Us This..... Throughout the years Prince has given us so much music, many music videos, live performances and books with pictures. One thing still remains to be seen; the creative process. Now I am sure we will never see a reality show with P but why not document how he creates just one song if not a whole album? I would love to see how he puts together his music. Many stories have been told about how he could create a song in a day. Wouldn't it be awesome to see him actually do it? I have followed the Org for many years and have seen how many fans have expressed what they would like Prince to do next. Some perfect examples of that would be both of his acoustic CD's and his live CD One Nite Alone Live. I just want to put it out there, I want a video of Prince creating music! there is a little bit of prince recording Partyman and some of prince directing the lovesexy concert. And the video for a million days has what MAY be prince in the studio.

In the first NPGMC chat room, I said I would L.O.V.E. to have a DVD of Prince in the studio, like a fly on the wall, when he was writing, recording, working on a song. Just to watch him in the creative process. A mod then asked me what would I pay for something like that. I said "a lot". I would die a happy, happy woman if a really well done DVD was offered. *  *I'm firmly planted in denial |

I think the closest we have to hearing it is some of the 1984-1986 sessions with the Revolution
I love the Prince & the Revolution 'Screams of Passion' rehearsal and the other Family song jams
Also Billy's Sunglasses
and the story behind the creation and recording of Power Fantasic engineered with Susan Rogers
I would love to see those late into the night jam sessions Prince had with the Revolution where a lot of different songs came out of | |

I was going to say, we do have audio of him forming portions of songs. That offers some insight.
