Good God! a few months ago, out of the blue, Prince's demo version got in my head wouldn't leave and i just loved it so much more than I ever had, then, a few weeks ago, it kind of dawned on me that the Rebels original exists with Gayle Chapman banging lead vocals.

I LOVE this song and I kind of wish that Prince could've used it himself somewhere...

my question/idea is...

If You/U had to exist on a record, ANY project, where would you put it...it could be reimagined - like it was from the Rebels to Paula Abdul...

I kind of think, but also kind of don't...think an interesting hybridish version of the two versions could've squeezed on The Undertaker

or Chaos and Disorder...
