Overheard in canada So here I am shoveling down dinner at my Canada hotel when I hear the ladies next to me discuss prince. One said in addition to changing his name to a symbol not only due to contracts but also he chose a symbol as not to disrespect his mom by changing his given name? Any truth to that?
Oh, and she called his music 'techno hip hop'

But he had other names... like alter ego names that he used. Wasn't one of them Victor?  I thought the symbol was one of them. We will never know what was going on In Prince's glittery head. |

I was playing poker the other night here in Vegas and I have a 23K gold Prince symbol as my "lucky charm" on top of my chips and the guy next to me started to as k if it was true that Prince had a rib removed and I stopped him right there. He wondered how that could just be a rumor and so I reminded him of rumors about Rod Stewart and a few others...He was from London and a Prince fan but it cracks me up what some people want to believe... |

the poster before queried a pseudonymn he used victor...which shows some knowledge of Prince so your riposte makes nil sense at all
especially the line"it cracks me up what some people want to believe"
i was just being silly chiding the poster that he didnt know the ins and outs of a psedo pseudonymn P used back in 92 on a rather obscure track
in essence in a way sending myself up and my anal knowledge so in conclusion"my name damn sure aint victor"
