A Love Bizarre

Okay ANY info about this song would be good.

Is there a studio version? That's what I am really looking for...I can't seem to find it...was it released on a Sheila E album?

Thanks.

Prince played on the studio version of the song, and I THINK he was behind a couple of the other songs on the wrecka... some of the stuff was impressive - saxophone heavy, it was her next CD after the Glamorous Life...

TOY BOX was a great song off of the disc, also uhh, Dear Michaelangelo - cool groove.

Prince TEARS IT UP on Love Bizarre - bass, guitar, and backing vocals. I wonder if there's a demo floating around with his vocals on it.

Anyone know?

ok I got the studio version now (sheila's)...that's definitely a prince drum beat, too...he's definitely doing the linn stuff there.

I know most people have this song but I've taken a while to work my way around to it, so apologies if this bores you all...actually, I could care less if it bores you, really. biggrin

It's STILL one of my favorites... there's an 8 minute live version that just tears me up.

The full-length 12:18 version of 'A Love Bizarre' can be found on Sheila E.'s album "Romance 1600", released in 1985 on Paisley Park records.

It's out of print, too.

I Still dig the Live Version from Her Concert Video from San Francisco.Mico was Cooking on the Axe on that Show. The Album Version was tight&I was feeling the Guitar Work near the end on the Album Version."Romance 1600" bores Me overall but ALB is a Must Have IMHO.
