Hi Folks,

Just bought (for the first time) Purple Rain-the movie and I noticed: it says Prince on the cover, when the album said Prince and The Revolution. Does anyone know why the difference?

No, it's not. My cousin's sister-in-law's mama's brother's friend who worked at the Warner plant was working that day and said he forgot to put it on there. Prince is still pissed at him. To this day he is not allowed at Paisley Park.

Hey, y'all, I'm IN the printing business, so I can tell you: printing companies (especially if they're printing high-quantity, high-end media related stuff like that VHS cover NEVER EVER change any of the content of the artwork when it's submitted to be printed. Who needs that kinda liability?

So, chances are, if some text was ACTUALLY left out (though I suspect that madartista was right by saying that it was simply credited as "Prince" because he was the star of the movie), it was the fault of the design department at Warner Brothers, not the printing company.
