i agree, i dont like this sudden trend of remaking old tunes. makes me think we'll never see remasters or original vault recordings..

Doesn't sound like Andy Allo to me.

When/where did this come from? I don't see it on Andy's page.

Dude, if you want us to listen to your cover tunes just post em in the Artist community. There is no way we are goning to mistake you for Prince. That fuggin sucked. Then again maybe that is a Prince production, lol! [Edited 12/6/11 4:50am]

People are acting like this is a Prince production but I really don't think it is. Doesn't sound like Andy to me.

The fact it's not on Andy Allo's Facebook page suggests it's a fake or a leak. It does sound like her though...the poster 'Wallygrooves' has a ton of unreleased stuff up - so how has it leaked...

I'm more interested in where this WallyGrooves person is getting this stuff from.

don't mind the vocal, backing is pretty naff.

I don't think Prince produced it because it has no lyric changes or any other modern Prince touches in the arrangement, but it is Andy Allo. The guitar part is anyyoying as hell, but otherwise it's not that bad. Then again there are some fcuked up chords in the arrangement which is definitely a marker for Prince. If it is his production he managed to keep a lot of his bad habits in check for this one. [Edited 12/6/11 6:02am] [Edited 12/6/11 6:03am]

I agree, the lead guitar is really corny but I really dig the rest of the song.
Prince and Andy have nothing to do with it and it WAS posted in the Artists forum : http://prince.org/msg/15/364400 http://soundcloud.com/kreempie

sounds possible to me - definitely not as exciting as Ouie Can Luv or as strong as Xtralovable. But does sound as the easy pop sound Prince has been playing over the last few years.
I like it.
And if it's just fan made, then it's a very nice piece of work.
Of course, a lot of people around here can do better ...

This has nothing to do with P and Andy. No need to trash them.

I would have bet money that was Andy singing lead. I guess I still don't know her voice when I hear it.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

X 10 Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Ha......if this was posted as "Hey check out my cover of 17 Days", you'd all be like "Pretty darn good. Perhaps a little more work on the Guitar work though...". Or even at a push, "Better than what ever Prince will do with it lolz '17 Days at Kingdom Hall' aha, aha, aha lolz, lolz!". This Post is produced, arranged, composed and performed by WetDream

It's not Andy at all, she could do way better than this.
It's not wonderful, not terrible.
