Fuck that shit. Billie Jean comes in at 15, and it's not even a fucking rock song. Limp Bizkit's goddamn George Michael cover even comes ahead.

Goddamn, I'd be a lot happier if Prince didn't show up on this crock of shit list at all. While I admit some of the songs on this list are classics, it's overall B.S.

I was surprised to see Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit so high on the list. It's not as if there's great musicianship being heard. It's a memorable song, but still...

I would think Don McClean's American Pie would be in the Top 10. That has to be one of the most analyzed songs of the rock era. Entire essays have been written about that song.

I agree with you on that. If the voters wanted to chose a Temptations song for this list, they could have picked one that was more rock or uptempo. Like Psychedelic Shack or I Can't Get Next to You would have been better choices. music

The #1 was Bill Clinton playing the sax on the Aresenio Hall show...

November Rain??!! I like Guns N' Roses, but this song is cheesy and dated. The guitar solo, although cool at the time, is now just wanky.

lol I hear ya. The Limp Bizkit remake shouldn't be on there. And if they wanted an MJ song on the list, Beat It is more rock than Billie Jean.

These lists are so fucking predictable. Im a huge Zep fan but god almighty ask anyone who listens to Zeppelin what their fave song is and they will NOT say Stairway to Heaven and what about ACDC You shook me all night long...oh please. So its better than Whole Lotta Rosie or Let There Be Rock. This list is compiled by classic rock DJ's who play them same 10 songs every day.

couldn't agree more!

one day the general public will realize that Led Zeppelin is WAYYY more than "Stairway to Heaven" and similiarly, Prince is more than "1999" and "Raspberry Beret"... I can't tell u how annoyed i get when i tell someone that i am a big prince fan and they reply with "me 2... i just love little red corvette" GRRR!

Again... THERE IS NO SUCH PINK FLOYD SONG CALLED "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON" they mention the phrase in a song off the album, but there's no way it would have made the list.
