Would You Have Given the "Prince" name back to him? Shucks, had ample opportunity last night at a Bob Wiseman concert the question "If you had successfuly stolen the name "Prince" would you have given him back the right to record as "Prince" if he had requested such after he dropped the unpronoucable symbol name.
Prince's lawyers had sent cease and disist letters to Bob (formerly of Blue Rodeo, toured with Feist) after Bob Wiseman legally tried to change his name to Prince and record as such back when Prince "changed" his name.
Just thought kinda funny, forgot this piece of trivial history until I googled the wacky Wiseman. Won't be able to ask Prince's take on this when he comes to Winnipeg (Wiseman's home town) in 2 weeks, as hopefully 15 000 other fans to contend with, bodyguards , etc. But should have asked Wiseman when only 15 other people at concert and lots of opportunity to converse with Bob! merf

If your name is "Bob" and you decide to change it to.... I don't know..... the little stick figure symbol that you see outside of a public toilet, or..... even a stop sign or the McDonalds logo or who knows what, your name is still legally Bob (ain't that a bitch) cuz you can't "legally" change your name to any kind of symbol. Doesn't matter if you supposedly own the symbol or not. So yeah, I mean he still owned the name regardless so of course! Dig?

B-O-B. Spell that shit backwards, what it say? Same motherfucking shit. The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.
