Did anybody else think... that the recent exciting announcement by Dr. Funkenberry that kept some on their toes and eventually turned out to be Prince releasing "Extraloveable"
....
was actually going to be
...
that the Original 7ven would be joining Prince in Canada?
I admit, I did not expect a "new" tune, but thought that the fellas might be jamming together soon.

and if there's more coming, great...but I seriously did not expect a tune. I thought the Original 7ven were going to join Prince on tour. THAT would be the best opening group No justice, No peace | |

I didn't think it was such a crazy idea of The Orig 7ven performing w/ Prince. Given how real music is a theme in Prince's latest tours, and the fact that he recently had the NPG festival in Denmark, and also that when he played at The Forum in LA, he said "I saw The Time in this building," I thought maybe - they were gonna rock things together. I mean, there are people critiquing &y's style...Imagine having the live skill, experience and maybe competition from the 7ven in a Prince gig (as well as late at night funk rainbow chil'drn sessions). this would b the fonkiest jam...all they'd need 2 do is get George Clinton 2 show up as well
