I hope not because adding "new" vocals etc to some vaulted music is a bastardization in my opinion. Nobody wants to hear newfangled shit intermixed with the vintage material. From any artists, especially Prince and The Rolling Stones. "Climb in my fur."

You know it's funny you mention that. Columbia Printed up quite a bit of those Miles sets. I think you can get good price on those still.
I still am kicking myself that the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts set I didn't buy. Nine inch nails is going for 1500.00 already. Original Price was for 300.00
If you start buying boxes or limited edition packages, say you buy 2 a month. You put them in a warehouse similar to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
And that my friends, is why you never complain at the high prices of these boxes. And if you think the manufacturers do not know this, then Id like to sell you a guitar that Prince may have strummed once. I have no documentation nor do I have any physical evidence that this guitar may have crossed paths w/ Prince. But boy, what a collectors item!
The secret words are "CUT OUT" and "out of Print" Once that happens, cash out or wait as the value continues to skyrocket.
The Miles Live at Plugged Nickel sealed is going for 1,119.00. That set went for I believe 150.00 retail in 1995. Remember this line, folks. CD's are the NEW vinyl. Warehouse everything you can because in the present & decades to come, just like Vinyl, collectors are going to want your inventory.
What do you think this set below is going to go for Sealed in 5 years?
I bet you me and RD have the same figure in mind. The exact figure is: beaucoup bucks!
Conclusion: Buy everything you can that says Limited Edition w/ the music greats. Don't listen to your friends. And as for Prince, bring on that limited edition remasters w/ cardboard sleeves and price it at 300 in a cardboard purple box that looks like it was manufactured by same marketers behind Mcdonalds Happy Meal box.

Deluxe limited-edition box sets? Hell, I'd be happy if Prince just did nothing more than reissue remasters of his original CDs. He's the only legendary musician that I can think of that only makes available the shoddy analog-to-digital transfers of his earlier work.
Bands and artists like The Beatles, The Stones, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, etc., etc., have all at least given their back catalog the perfunctory no-frills remastered treatment. I still have to crank-up the volume on most of my Prince CDs to ear-deafening levels just to get decent sound. "I Was FINE Back in the Day!"

I am now kicking myself for not buying that Hawaiin Hat Box from NPGMC! I clowned the hell out of that upon release. I should have purchased two. I dont care if Sam out that baby poster in there. I wonder what happens to the NPGMC overstock (if their is any). "Climb in my fur."
