I ask because rips of the audio CD have been pirated on several boots, and that version doesn't have the sounds of the video (like Vanessa puking) in the audio.

Sorry, I can't remember which boots, I never listen to them since I have the actual CD with the "schlack" (sp?) cleaned off. But, I know that it's out there...

Maybe someone else could post with a list of the boots?

I agree the "special" effects takes away from performance. I saw this in the fall of 93 at the NPG store and after they did showings of it they asked people to fill out a questionnaire. Questions like would you buy it, how much would you pay for it, and what you thought of it. I put get rid of the effects.

I think the Digital Funk Bitch boot is sound effect free.

The DFB release is a rip of the actual cd, with enhanced sound. Imo, it's probably the best version out there for those who do not have the real thing.

Other boots with the cd version include Sabotage's Past, Present & Future I & II. There are possibly others but I can't think of them right now.

I'm quite sure there are very slight differences between the music on the cd and what is on The Undertaker film.

You are correct, there are differences. I haven't listened to my boot that's ripped from the film in over a decade. The actual CD (and bootleg rips of the CD) is the better listening experience for sure.

What I still want to know is whether the December 1993 limited release of the video (mentioned in the Vault book) actually WAS released, considering that even though we have a bootleg copy of it, NO ONE seems to have an actual copy and some people claim only in-house tapes have been made.

The version I have has a "Prince" version and a " " version. What is the difference between the two versions?

IIRC, the only difference is that Dolphin is the live version on the Prince version while it's the recording on the symbol version.
