I always thought Do U Lie? was Prince's most sophisticated piece musically: you have the accordion, Fischer's idiosyncratic orchestration, those awesome backgrounds and those jazzy progressions...it's marvelous. | |

I have a strange obsession with "The Beautiful Ones." It's not too complicated musically speaking, but from the beginning to the end is pure perfection. Prince uses his voice as just another instrument that harmonizes pefectly with the music. Like his voice and the music are one and the same.
