Prince Performances shot on film?

I was just watching the new Nirvana Blu Ray of their 1991 show which was shot on 16mm film. The new HD transfer looks amazing which is a good thing seeing as this was the only Nirvana performance captured on film (not video).

This got me thinking about older Prince performances - what shows (if any) have been shot on film (16 or 35mm) rather than video? Older Prince shows on film would be great to see remastered in high definition...

SOTT was shot on film (apart from U Got The Look sequence) so that should be OK

PR, UTCM and GB were too.

I believe the early 90's stuff like D and P concerts were filmed on video which is unfortunate (and ironic because I guess at the time they thought video was a newer and better medium). Maybe soon they will be able to 'remaster' these videos to be improved, but think the tech is quite different...

I think if there was a film crew for Rick James and the Stones, they may have shot some of the performances when Prince opened. The Stones are going through their archives, so it's possible they might have some long lost stuff.

Warners had a limited budget for promotion clips, so Prince used his to make videos. I'm sure he wishes he could've filmed some of those tours at the time.
