A lot of musicians talk about groupies back in the day being more like girlfriends that took care of them... pretty much like how Cameron Crowe portrayed it in "Almost Famous". Now if someone has money, they're more concerned about lawsuits, charges of rape, STDs, punctured condoms.

But whether it's Prince or Justin Bieber, they all know that there's always the risk of paternity lawsuits, so that's usually try to avoid groupies. But when I heard that interview with Brett Ratner on Howard Stern, talking about him sending girls to his doctor to screen them for STDs, without a doubt, Prince has done that as well. I'm sure some of his exes would talk about it.
