It comes across to me as sounding eerie.

It would've definitely been the darkest track on the CD if it made the cut.

The line that always gets me is...

"demon clever, promise 4ever, the curious try and always die.."

I was like 'whoa' when I heard that.

Everyone seems to love it but to me it seems uninspired. Same with Big Tall Wall.

Intended for Batman, this dark eerie track utilizes a drum machine, piano, synth, and the voice of The Joker. The song is based on the scene where The Joker holds Vicki Vale hostage in Gotham's bell tower. Prince warns to be cautious of the devil's tricks. First time I heard it I didn't really care for it. Gave it a few more spins and it really grew on me. I guess I didn't really appreciate the layering at first, and the length of the song kinda turned me away from wanting to listen to it entirely.

Okay, that was perhaps a little strongly put. But I do like them both very much, and a huge part of the reason is their gloomy atmosphere. I wish he would go there more often.
