THE BEAUTIFUL ONES Just put it on and listen...
I love this song! Though I wouldn't change it, sometimes I imagine what it would be like minus the screeching of Prince's voice at the end. But I guess it works as a kind of cry of desperation. Just a very enchanting piece of music* (dedicated 2 the one who loves to 'get blue'*) *~sheknowwhoshebe~*

Loved Sexy MF with the horn parts better as well. Especially during the that TV show, with George Clinton, The Crayons, Carmen Electra...what was that called? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It made me take off what was playin and put rain on ..damn it lol. But yeah the screaming now that u mention it is james brownish but also John Lennonish ..the whole prinmal scream element that Lennon used a few times solo was something I kept reading about back then. Who can't resist when he breaks it down screamin his anguish and desire? "Climb in my fur."

Who can't resist when he breaks it down screamin his anguish and desire? yeah, it halfway reminds me of the james brown song "oh, baby don't you weep"... oh baby don't you weep aaahooohahahh baby oh baby don't you weep i believe if i scream a little bit louder, ya just might come back home, babe aahhh ahhh ahhh yweaaah baby then it also gives me the feel of "mother" by john lennon... either the full-lenght version or the live version... mama don't gooo, daddy come home... love that shit... This song has been a fav ever since PR came out. Can yall remember seeing this in the movie for the very first time.
Hell, I was boo-hooing all over the place. This song is so powerful and soulful, definitely one of P's greatest love songs. If I wasn't at work, I'd be playing this with yall. "The Beautiful Ones always smash the picture." **************************************************
