Prince's Voice Is Comforting I have been going through a lot in 2011 it's been a rough year! But as I listen to Prince sing it is comforting-it takes me back to a much simpler time  and it makes me feel better. Whether its the beginning of his singing in "crucial" or its "diamonds and pearls" the man's voice is so melodic it makes my day a lot brighter. So a big thank you to Prince for continuing to share that gift  | |

Earlier this year I was going through tough times at home and was staying in a woman's refuge for a few months .. I refused to listen to anyone but Prince. He made everything I was going through alot easier, he changed my entire perspective | |

nursev, I agree with you that Prince's voice is so melodic. The range is incredible.
When I listen to the radio on rare occasions, most of the music I hear is not near as melodic as Prince's. I perk up every time one of his songs comes on....even though the radio stations tend to play his older songs like Kiss, Little Red Corvette, and When Doves Cry.

 his voice is so beautiful that even those tunes still sound great after being played a million times by radio. I wonder if they know he kept recording after the 80's and 90's  | |
