Does Prince hold movie soundtrack record 4 an mainstream artist?

I was looking thru my collection and I noticed that Prince has several cd's that were soundtracks 4 movies and a few that were slated but cancelled. He any other mainstream artist has as many as Prince?

Here is my count:

Purple Rain

The Time: Ice Cream Castles

Vanity 6

Under the Cherry Moon

Sign of the Times

Grafitti Bridge

The Time: Pandamonium

Girl 6

Batman

Unreleased:

The Undertaker

I'll Do Anything

3121 the movie

Probably not, Madonna has a few more. Besides Time albums and Vanity 6 albums hardly count. The last time album had only one song connected with the movie - Jerk Out, and thats only heard as the background once. Full Prince movies you only have 3 plus the SOTT concert which was a live concert rather than a "movie". Girl 6 and Batman only had Prince songs, but they don't feature in it.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

Elvis Presley certainly had more soundtracks than Prince, even if you count Prince's associated artist stuff.

The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.

Beatles had: Help, A Hard Days Night, Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine, and Let It Be.

You have composers like Mark Mothersbaugh (Devo) and Danny Elfman (Oingo Boingo) that came from bands, plus Brian Eno, who's composed and recorded many for TV shows and films.

Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra would prob. have the most as far as mainstream artists go.
