Orgasm please 4give my ignorance if I'm the only 1 that doesn't know, but...who is the lucky lady featured on the end of the 'come' album??
sounds like kim basinger 2 me...any ideas? I'm guessing it's probably in the sleeve notes but I only got the album on mp3 4mat...this will probably start an entirely different discussion about ethics in the music industry...sorry!!

It's Apollonia (...Vanity??). It's a sound-sample takes from the Dirty Mind era, more specific, from the Vibrator sessions. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I think it's Vanity. The "act" is also used in Madhouse, track "7".

Correct, it's Vanity's orgasm taken from the Vibrator sessions. I just always forget who was first, Apollonia or Vanity. Now I know... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

could some1 post more info on the vibrator sessions...that sounds good!! Vibrator is a Dirty Mind era outtake. It was intended for inclusion on the Vanity 6 album. It is on a bootleg called Dirty Mind. The song features a scene with Vanity and Prince, where Vanity comes into the store for batteries for het vibrator and Prince is playing the shop-keeper who doesn't want to sell her batteries, because he doesn't like the vibrator stuff. It's pretty funny. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The guitar solo in Orgasm is a sample from the guitar solo at the end of private joy from Controversy.

Vibrator was intended for the 2nd V6 album, not the first. --------------------

When was the first V6 album released? Wasn't that 83/84? This song is for sure from the Dirty Mind era, so how can it be for the 2nd when there wasn't even a first released? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

First V6 album released: 11th August 1982.
Vibrator recorded in the summer of '83 for the projected 2nd V6 album (which of course never happened because Denise left the group partly due to her huge gak habit). Vibrator was also considered for a 3rd Madhouse album, this is after '24' was shelved, so it would be technically the 4th Madhouse album it was considered for (although had it been released after '24' was shelved it would have been the 3rd officially released) - LOL, that's confusing! Sections of the moaning were also used on Madhouse's '8', and on the shelved '24'. --------------------

Kim Basinger is sampled by Prince on Peach (that 'unh' sample is her) as well as My Name Is Prince, and wherever else that appears (2 Whom It May Concern, some Cream maxi-single tracks...?) He mentions it in the Vibe interview from 1994.

The guitar part is also from an old song isn't it? From a
song on the "Controversy" album. I'm just not sure which one. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Check the first version of 'Soul Psychodelicide' if you want to get an earful of Basinger. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

. That was the last one, I am afraid. And the worst. The best is The Mothership Version, with the GC clan.
