Prince not represented at Grammy Museum

Wife and kids were out of town yesterday so I decided to check out the Grammy Museum and although it was a great time, there was almost no Prince anywhere. The only time I saw Prince was during a highlight clip of Mary J Blige winning her award and Prince clapping behind her.

Absolutely no mention of his Grammy wins, clips of his performances or any other memorabilia on display. I wonder if it was his decision though knowing how he is.

Noteworthy:

They have a cool section dedicated to James Brown with several of his outfits, listening booths, tributes by hip hop artists and a dancing game where you dance along to several of his moves demonstrated by himself.

There is also an interactive sound booth where you sing and record the melody to "Human" with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. This was really fun, Jimmy and Terry explain how to record vocal tracks and has some nice piano playing by JJ. You sing the chorus melody and harmony and in the end it is mixed together so you can hear it back, I was awful but only i heard it!

There is also a cool display of several Michael Jackson outfits over the years including the white suit he wore on the cover of Thriller.

Probably cuz for the longest prince n quincy jones haven't gotten along. I don't know if q is still involved with the grammys, but I'd say this is the reason.
