Kind of wonder locally exactly what transpired that Prince, no longer lives in Minnesota. Was he driven out by the Paisly Park flop, was it his baby that passed away in his chanhassen home, his divorce or his father dying. He tore down both houses and exited stage left. Last siting for me was the chairty event at Paisly Park, 2-3 years ago. Ain't seen or heard of him even being in town since. Discuss!!

he's going to be in minne soon!

First, his son died in a hospital. I'm confused about why he tore down those houses....maybe he didn't want anyone to live in them. Prince is soooo secretive he probably goes to Minneapolis when he's bored and no one knows. He's got 4 recording studios there...why not?

Jafo, do you live in MPLS? Because I do... Prince has been around from time to time over the last couple years. He's been spotted here and there. He hasn't been home for a while though. He usually keeps a low profile when he is in town.

Well, he has been very visable & maybe its because he is touring????

Yep, live in Minneapolis. Wen't too the paisly park charity for coats Jam at Paisly Park two years ago and saw him there. Problem is his house is gone, all closed up. Sure he comes here, but he dosen't own property with a house on it any longer. He lived less than two miles from the studio, everything is gone from that property except for the black fense and the gaurd booth. He still owns the land, but tearing down a house that is maybe 20 years old is... well crazy. Even rich people don't do that. He could have sold the property with the house on it for more. It isn't sold, he's still paying taxes on it. The pool, gone, the gazebo's all over the grounds... gone, the windmill in the back where he would chill and write music or go to be alone... gone. Only reason I know is I worked with his neighboors who owned an Apple Orchid next door to him. Recently that land was sold for development and those people passed.
