Prince Wanted To Sign Lisa Marie Presley To His Record Label? i think she has an album coming out next or so and some prince fans said on twitter that prince approached her for a recording deal when she was 24, does anyone know if this is true, would have be interested if they collaborated together [Edited 10/26/11 19:50pm]

Let's just put her daddy to the side-can she sing? Besides Vanity, Tamar and Sheila most of his female proteges are vocally challenged. I have never heard Jill sing so I can't speak on her. If Lisa can sing it may have been a blessing not to sign with Prince.

Lisa had an okay voice. She wasn't no Nona Gaye, who actually could sing.

She was the duaghter of the King. Had she not married MJ and marketed differently, she may have had a chance in the music biz. Her voice isn't great, but look at Britney and the ilk. It's marketing.

Lisa didn't put music out until 2003, and prob. didn't feel ready to deal with it. I'm sure she turned down a lot of offers to record her music.

I saw her at the FILLMORE in SF and the place wasn't even ballroom full but she put on a great show. Good voice for her style of music.

She almost was about to do a deal but turned it down when she got married to you-know-who.

Sorry but I've heard Lisa Marie's voice and the sound killed my cat. I don't even have a cat so you know it was pretty bad. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

She had been married to a musician prior to Michael and I'm sure there were demos.
I'll mention it in the other thread. Her daughter Riley played Dakota Fanning's sister in the Runaways movie.

Yeah Danny Keogh. I think she was to sign a deal around 1992, 1993 but her "E! True Hollywood Story" episode said she suddenly decided not to sign or something. I think her friends said she regretted doing that. [Edited 10/29/11 1:20am]
