Rock and Roll hall of fame DVD 'Light my fire'

I just received mine (Kultur Spiegel - german version) today.

It's with the 'While my guitar gently weeps' song with Prince on guitar. There is also another version of it in the regular shops.

Anybody out there who also bought this?

I don't know this. What other artists are on it? I might get it if there's enough bands that I like.

I think Time Life is the distributor of the RRHOF collection. Everything up to the late 90s had never been seen outside of the museum or in person, and just used as archive footage.

Billy Joel had said when it started out, they were way more drunk because no one was watching it live at home, and then when they started airing the show, had to tone that down a bit.But there's some people who wound up obtaining copies since the beginning.

I don't know if I'm a fan of them chopping it up to make it a "best of" vs releasing the whole event year by year.

I think Prince's guitar gently wept because he was the only black artist on the list. sad
But thanx for the info.
