12 years gone

I just got back into Prince after about 12 years. I used to have every recording he released from '77 to '91. Diamonds and Pearls disappointed me greatly, I gave him another chance with the symbol album. No. This was NOT what I wanted to hear. I hated the "rap" parts, I thought they sucked (still do), hated the genericness of it all. 11 years later, on a whim, I decide to check out TRC. I was totally blown away! To me, this is the next logical progression (not REGRESSION like most of his '90s output-IMO) to his music after Lovesexy. So I have now re-aquired all the stuff I used to have, including all the 12" remixes. I have burned myself a 3-disc set of 12"s and other songs. I wanted to share the tracklist with you, this pretty much sums up the type of Prince music I love.

Disc 1

Alphabet St. (This is not music, this is a trip)
Pop Life 12"
Escape (Free yo' mind from this rat race)
Play in the Sunshine (studio)
I Would Die 4 U 12"
Scarlett Pussy 12"
Paisley Park 12"
Girls and Boys (studio)
Good Love
There's Others Here With Us
Little Red Corvette 12"
Bob George (studio)

Disc 2

Let's Go Crazy 12"
Hello 12"
Another Lonely Christmas 12"
Crystal Ball
Shockadelica
Kiss 12"
Around the World in a Day (live rehearsal)
She's Always in My Hair 12"
Housequake (7 minutes mo' quake)
A Love Bizarre 12"
Irresistable Bitch
Mountains 12"

Disc 3

Raspberry Beret 12"
U Got the Look (long look)
I Wish U Heavan pts. 1,2, and 3
Anotherloverholenyohead 12"
Computer Blue (full-length)
La, La, La, He, He, Hee
17 Days
Love or $ 12"
America 12"

I've been listening to this everyday for about a week now.
There's a rift out in space, and it could be the door, but you know I'm not sure.

Welcome Back! Yes it's true TRC is the Best material since SOTT. If you have not checked out The Gold Experience you have to. It was like nothing else he did in the 90's

Good luck though, it's pretty hard to find sad
