Long time since I've listened to them - anyone remember these tracks?

Totaly. I saw Louie Louie in Vegas awhile back. They played at the Flamigo every Saturday night. It was pretty sad. His band was pretty good though

i would love to hear more about what was sad. please tell me and i'll tell you a story at the end.

They advertised the show on the radio every day. Me and a couple of friends went to check it out becuase they hyped it up so much. When we arrived there was probably about 30 people in the club on a saturday night. Before they came on stage a announcer came on and said something to remind every one of the hit "Lap of Luxury" and they played the video. They ran around the place dancing on tables and trying to get the audience into it but the crowd wasnt to responsive.The band was great and every one was very energetic.When I say sad, I felt bad for them. They were playing almost a lounge act with most of the people who were there didnt even know who they were. People who were gambling and got a free show, or it was included with dinner type thing. Im not putting any one down, playing anywere sometimes is excellent (I know). It just shows how you can be number one and every one knows your name, and how things can 180 on ya the next second.
