It's pretty much the rhyme to Holly Rock, with "Feline get your body working, Feline all night."
St. Paul's the name, making love the game, funky as I wanna be. Line up a hundred, swear to God, I'll fuck 'til they can't see.
I got mass appeal, a little boy smile, make you happy baby all the while, I'm bad, GoodGod, and if you got a big enough stick, come on over baby, don't you wanna learn a new trick. I'll bet I'll kick your little dog too, don't you wanna be my bitch!

I cannot help you with the songs lyrics, but here is an interesting little titbit...
According to Uptown magazine #35, Feline was left off The Family album because Paul felt "ill at ease" singing the sexual lyrics and wanted to shelve the track. David Rivkin said, "Pauls mum objected to it." Susan Rogers also added, "Paul came from a Catholic family, and one of his biggest concerns when being lead singer of The Family was that his mother didn't like everything that Prince stood for. Therefore Paul was obliged to tell Prince, "I don't think I can sing this. I think my mother is gonna object."

^That's interesting.
Kind of reminiscent to the reason behind Dez Dickerson's departure. | |
