Housequake (It's Not My Fault Remix) If I got the story right, the Razormaid remix for "Housequake", originally intended for release on a Prince maxi-single, was released exclusively on a DJ-only Razormaid compilation after Prince decided that he was disappointed with it and declined to use it (preferring to release his own remix instead).
The funny thing is that the remix (often mistitled as "Razormaid Mix") was actually released under the title "Housequake (It's Not My Fault Mix)". I've been wondering if this was a private-joke, with the remixer using this title to say "it's not my fault Prince turned down the remix, my remix was a good one so don't blame me for this failure".
I guess no one knows but I just felt like sharing this theory of mine A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/ | |

Seems possible.
I also think that "Razormaid" sounds better than "It's Not My Fault."
Not that great a remix though imo, nothing beats the original.
