Thanks for this one. Morning Paper & BLue Light are my favz. BUt when I want heavy dound, I'll crank up My Name Is Prince.

The most eye-rolling cringe-worthy era. completely lost interest in Prince during this time.

I like the crazy ass hair in this era.

I love this era the Symbol album is definitely in my top 5 prince albums of all time

Kirstie Alley certainly went on to much bigger things after this

I love the "Love Symbol" era & album. He has so many great songs from this time. My faves from the album are: Blue Light, Sweet Baby, Love 2 the 9s, I Wanna Melt With U, Damn U, The Continental, 7, And God Created Woman, damn lol the whole album is genius!

"And God Created Woman" should had been either longer period or there should be a longer version available, hands down. Maybe a longer version is in his vault

I always felt in this era he was trying to fit and win over the MJ, Rainbow Brite, My Pretty Pony, Teenage Ninja Turtle, NKOTB crowd. Mindless, badly made kiddie slop.

This era was so beneath him. From SOTT to THIS! I still cringe at the thought of the mighty Prince stooping so low.

Great album. Like D&P good tracks are awesome, bad tracks are horrible. However there's more good tracks than bad personally. Sexy M.F is defiently my favorite song from the album. The horns are amazing.

I was just listening to this cd the other day. It still sounds fresh. My fave's are "My Name Is Prince", "Blue Light", "I Wanna Melt With U", "The Continental" and "The Sacrifice of Victor"

Great album in my opinion. Many club friendly tracks. It was always well known that Prince was always working on a new album by the time the last was released. This was the first time I actually witnessed it, though. I moved to Mpls in 91 and went to my first afterparty at Paisley Park (the infamous one where Terrence Trent D'Arby took the stage) in Jan 92 after an impromptu show at Glam Slam. The DJ played My Name Is Prince, Sexy MF, and the Continental. Mind you Diamonds and Pearls had just been released in Oct 91. I couldn't believe my ears, and I'm still convinced that I heard Rosie on those tracks at that time. I saw 14 live shows from Jan 92 to Sep 93 and only 2 were official concerts. I was in HEAVEN!

era = THE most UNDERrated Prince era ever (beside The Gold Experience era) !

That's right, I said it! Prince was on some serious digital rock opera, jazz-funk, hip-house tip.

I was so exited when i first heard the tunes! This one made me a big fan, after i discovered Prince´s Purple Rain in 91! I really loved D&P but this blew me away! Great songs! Everybody in our little local club loved Sexy MF! It was the jam! Then i saw him for the very first time in Germany in 93! Until now, it was the best Prince experience!

In 92/93 Prince was still a megastar, everybody was talking about him....A very cool time
