I would just like to inform you, that we dont need you now....not in your current state....maybe you should get hypmotised and see if you can get intouch mentally with your younger, dirtier, funkier old self...then just then I think we will need you!. It is greatly saddening 2 a younger newer fan like myself that all your most intresting sounding and ground breaking dirty music....has not came out your brain since the mid-90's, Songs such as Erotic City, Head, Do Me Baby, Adore, P Control etc...songs so funky and shexy that we fans sit there listening with a funking hard on!....or a wet hairy trout in womens cases!...true recently we have had snippets of your greatness with songs like Call My Name, Dance 4 Me, Musicology...but I still wouldnt consider them "up there" with others that show ur true ground-breaking genuis flare, yet there are other recent songs like Compassion that sounds like u just robbed the melody from the song "Time Warp"..which is just tacky...but didnt know u were a fan of the Rocky Horror Picture show...but dnt worry bridget the midget..I fancy Tim Curry also...dnt worry ...our little secret!. now for instance take the song God 4 example...what a beautiful vocal with great simple lyrics...yet even tho its a religious song...u could still make love 2 it!...cuz its that funking shexy!...and dnt even get me started on the instrumental version....so beautiful and haunting makes me wanna .....but I will end this on a more positive note...im happy really cause i have tons of great classic albums from your early years..that most artists dnt have in there whole lives, never mind a body of work from 20 fucking years!.....Ive lost hope for your future albums....some fans havent but I have.....but you could always prove me wrong ta ta

So to me its hypocritical that someone put it in a post all at once. I think his post and sentiments are being misunderstood is all....I think its being read as him yearning for Prince to be a saviour when I think he means just for him to create a work along the lines of SOTT daily news material and SOTT quality as an added piece of art amongst others just to have as a salve/getaway that most people have and do during turbulent times

But see, P already created SOTT and it is still a very actual work of art to use as "a getaway". When P wrote that, people were thinking they were living in "turbulent times" too. Moreover sentiments such as "So many of our heros are passed. Michael, Steve Jobs. Luther. We are at war...even with each other. Our hope is sometimes fading. I can count only one good news story this year" are simply not shared by everybody. The lack of good news stories is due to the media you are watching, not reality, my and many others hope is not fading, while we all die, every day, including our heroes and loved ones. But then mention Steve, Michael and Luther?? Come on now. If you are going to talk "we" and "us", at least try and make it more universal. That's all I'm saying.
