Im not worried about a movie from him but a substantial Neil Young type of release ala Harvest etc. I know he tried some spiritual healing with TRC but that was to confining although the music imho was brilliant. I mean with all thats going on in these days and times, a lot of influence could be such an inspiration for music. OTTOMY, Trent/NIN had his recent Year Zero. Something like that would be nice..not sex fantasy trappings but something along the lines of a Young or Dylan release of maturity. Lotusflow3r came so close so I know it's still in him.

I realise it's not really the point of your post, but you might want to check out a site like http://goodnewsnetwork.org/ for some more uplifting and constructive news.

Watching too much of the mainstream media can leave one depressed and desperate for answers and/or salvation, even it if comes from a celebrity, but in truth the responsibility for changing the world lies with every single individual.

Look after yourself, be the change you want to see in the world (thanks Gandhi), and enjoy the new music when it drops, but don't wait for Prince to make things better. In the short term, it's not fair on him and in the long term, it's not fair on you.

Uh-uh " /> You need to stop. Do you realize how much PRESSURE that is to put on one man? I mean Prince just makes songs, the best of them usually hilariously kinky funk and roll romps. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people like you come up to Prince with this type of stuff. To Prince's credit, he was always patient and kind in response to this type of misguided glorification, but you could actually see his shoulders curl up and sink from the weight of the pressure. In my opinion, attitudes like yours, more than anything else are the reason why he is so uptight now. Like it's his fault your worldview is so negative. After Purple Rain, people started treating Prince like a deity who could actually change the world. And i suspect at times he tries to live up to that. But he is just an ENTERTAINER. It really bugs me when I read posts like yours.
